As part of our ongoing support for a key client based in Granada, we are seeking a dynamic and strategically minded Senior DevOps Engineer to guide a cross-functional DevOps team, drive technical excellence, and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, these are the main tools and environments you will work with on a daily basis:

• Private cloud based on OpenStack

• Operating systems based on Linux distributions

• Containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes management

• Provisioning tools: Ansible and Terraform

• CI/CD pipeline management using GitLab, Maven, Nexus, and SonarQube

• Observability stack: Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, and OpenTelemetry

• Scripting languages: Bash and/or Python

What you'll do

• Plan and coordinate system upgrades across multiple environments, working closely with software development teams

• Manage technical deployments, including new software releases, mitigating risks and reviewing change requests

• Investigate and diagnose issues, assign or implement fixes (code and deployments), and keep documentation up to date

• Improve workflow efficiency and promote greater autonomy within a stable system environment

• Configure and validate new servers, tracking network changes

• Develop tools to automate processes, simplify operations, and reduce risk

• Work with modern, state-of-the-art tools and technologies

• Manage and operate more than 20 Kubernetes clusters running hundreds of services

What you’ll bring

• Strong experience in container management using Docker

• Solid experience managing Kubernetes clusters

• Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Kibana, Prometheus, and Grafana

• Good understanding of public and private cloud environments, as well as on-premise infrastructure

• Experience with the HashiCorp stack (Terraform, Consul, Vault), with the ability to apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles

• Deep knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and practices

• Strong understanding of platform automation technologies

• Scripting skills (Bash, Python)

• Solid experience in Linux systems administration, including troubleshooting and network services
