As part of our ongoing support for a key client based in Madrid, We are looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer / DevOps professional to join the team. You will play a key role in shaping our cloud strategy, driving infrastructure automation and ensuring the reliability, scalability and security of our systems. You will work closely with development teams to strengthen DevOps culture and platform capabilities across the organization.
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, these are the main tools and environments you will work with on a daily basis:
Microsoft Azure as the primary cloud platform
Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Kubernetes cluster administration and orchestration
Cloud networking and modern infrastructure architecture
Cloud security best practices
Secrets management and policy enforcement
Observability and monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus and Grafana
CI/CD and infrastructure automation environments
Distributed cloud-native systems
What you'll do
Design and build modern cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure using Terraform
Develop reusable Terraform modules and manage remote state and infrastructure automation workflows
Administer and optimise Kubernetes clusters, including scaling, networking and troubleshooting
Contribute to cloud architecture decisions and platform scalability initiatives
Implement and improve cloud security and SecOps practices
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve DevOps culture and operational excellence
Improve observability, monitoring and system reliability across the platform
Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational processes
Ensure high availability, scalability and security standards across environments
What you’ll bring
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and strong cloud infrastructure design knowledge
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including, reusable module design. remote state management, environment automation
Strong hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters, ideally including cluster setup from scratch
Good understanding of Kubernetes networking, scaling and troubleshooting
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus or Grafana
Experience with AWS or GCP is considered a strong plus
Ability to confidently defend technical decisions and communicate effectively with different stakeholders
Strong ownership mindset and collaborative attitude
